Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal and medical information AMAL Clinics collects, why we need it, who it is shared with and how long we keep it.
1. Who we are
AMAL Clinics is a medical concierge based in Istanbul, Türkiye, coordinating treatment journeys for international patients. Travel and health tourism arrangements offered through amalclinics.com are coordinated by Baltalimanı Health Tourism Agency, a TÜRSAB-registered Group A Travel Agency (Certificate No. 15152).
2. What we collect
Identity and contact details: name, phone number, WhatsApp number, email, country of residence, nationality, preferred language and, where travel is arranged, passport details.
Medical information you choose to share: the procedure you are considering, medical history, current medication, allergies, previous procedures, reports and photographs.
Journey information: quotations, selected options, payments, travel dates, accommodation and appointment details.
Technical information: basic analytics about how the website is used.
3. Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry, to allow a doctor to review your case, to prepare a personalized proposal, to arrange accommodation, transport and appointments, to process your deposit and balance, and to provide aftercare.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your medical information for advertising.
4. Who it is shared with
Only with parties that need it to deliver your journey: the treating doctor and hospital or clinic, the hotel, the transfer provider and our payment provider. Medical information is shared only with the medical parties involved in your case.
Our payment provider processes card and PayPal transactions directly. AMAL Clinics never receives or stores your full card number or security code.
5. Storage and security
Data is stored on access-controlled systems with encrypted transport, role-based staff access and audit logging. Medical records are restricted to authorized medical and coordination staff.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not proceed are deleted or anonymised on request. Where treatment is coordinated, records are retained for the period required by Turkish health tourism and accounting obligations.
7. Your rights
You may request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion where no legal obligation requires us to keep it, and withdrawal of consent for future communication.
